Semi-Pro V

Dynamic Parametric EQ Dual-Stage Saturation Inter-Plugin Clash Metering

macOS Audio Unit (.component) 64-bit AU for Apple Silicon VST3 coming soon

The Semi-Pro V interface: an EQ graph with three bands, saturation and monitoring controls along the top, band dynamics below, and input and output meters.
01

8-Node Dynamic Parametric EQ

  • Surgical Bell, Shelf and Cut filters across 8 draggable nodes.
  • Solo Listen Mode per band to isolate exact frequency pockets instantly.
  • Mid-Side & Stereo Processing: shape center punch and stereo width independently.
02

Hands-Off Dynamic EQ Mode

  • Automatic dynamic adaptation with auto-attack and auto-release.
  • Shaves harsh transients and tames resonances adaptively without killing natural punch.
  • Manual override with full Threshold, Ratio and Range dials.
03

Inter-Plugin Clash & Masking Detection

  • Real-time Clash Meter (%) and masking curves show frequency collisions between tracks: kick vs. 808, vocals vs. guitars.
  • External Sidechain routing built into the dynamics engine.
04

Dual-Tier Saturation Engine

  • Whole Sound Drive: analog-modeled warmth across the full signal.
  • Per-Band Saturation: put harmonic grit only on the bands you choose. Leave the lows clean while you drive the mids.
  • 3 Saturation Flavors: Soft Distortion, Hard Distortion and Waveform Clipping, modeled after classic analog studio compressors.
  • 2× & 4× Oversampling: studio-grade anti-aliasing keeps the top end clear under heavy drive.
05

Monitoring, Metering & Workflow

  • Delta Monitoring & Delta Level: hear only what the EQ and saturation add or carve out, in real time.
  • Precision Gain Staging: independent Input and Output controls with simultaneous Peak and RMS metering.
  • A/B Comparison: two states to test a change against your previous settings.
  • Built-in Tips Mode: an on-screen guide to every knob and function, right in the interface.
